Scott Garten
Scott Garten is ACP’s Senior Vice President, Safety, Operations, and Workforce Institute. He joins ACP from the American Petroleum Institute (API), where he most recently served as Vice President of Product Management within the Global Industry Services division. In that role he led a portfolio of certification, training, and intellectual property programs, driving sustained organizational growth and expanding the division’s international footprint. He managed a global team of employees and contractors while advancing strategic initiatives in workforce development and market expansion.
Prior to API, Garten held roles at IHS Markit and Thomson Reuters, where he built a strong track record in sales and business development delivering data-driven solutions to government and commercial clients.
