Rob Schulberg

Deputy Director, Communications

Rob Schulberg leads strategic communications for federal and state advocacy campaigns at the ACP, shaping narrative environments around energy reliability, affordability, and economic development to advance policy outcomes.

Prior to joining ACP, Rob spent three years as a contractor with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). He served as media lead for DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), driving coverage for its solar, wind, water, and geothermal technology offices. He also supported DOE’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response in a speechwriting and public relations capacity.

A native Oregonian, Rob began his career in the energy sector at ACP member company Portland General Electric, where he led marketing efforts for the utility’s transportation electrification portfolio.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Puget Sound. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and playing intramural sports on the National Mall.
